All Humans r Dead

Salam.

Mashallah 1 of my favourite quotes. Indeed the imam is deeply knowledgeable n quite rightly has shown that a true Muslim is in a constant state of worry no matter wot he has done bcoz he doesn't know whether Allah will accept his best deeds.

No matter how much knowledge 1 earns, his knowledge needs 2b converted in2 good deeds. Whether he was able 2 prioritise his amols where need was most, even when amol was performed in good niyah is a coz of worry. Just niyah with excellent amols can b deceiving! Y?  While I might think my amol is mashallah backed by good niyah so the things I hav done r also pure, but wot if Allah can prove otherwise? Our knowledge is limited compared 2 his. We all know the stories of Khizir (aleyhes salam) from the Quran. Was it his knowledge or he was just instructed by Allah? Wotever the case mayb the point is even our best knowledgeables r also limited by their natural capacity.

That is y besides reassuring Muslims that he (Allah) is their best friend, he also reminds they shud also b Muslims with tawaq (fearing Allah n giving him the utmost respect for his knowledge n power). Reason y using inshallah n mashallah is far 'd upon us. Our knowledge comes from him as hedayah but we can never b confident whether our actions will end in2 other's benefits bcoz shytwan is a highly deceiving conspirator allways busy in destroying our good works behind our knowledge. So it comes down 2 allahs decision alone whether he will inshallah accept our iman, amol n takwah bcoz he is the supreme authority with all encompassing knowledge. Whereas we can only hope for hedayah, mercy n forgiveness but in this duniya we will never know for sure whether we r indeed receiving them from him or being deceived by shaytwan. Our last hope is he is also at tauwabu or quick acceptor of repentances. That is y there r plenty of hadids relating 2 prophet Mohammad saw n his shahabis allways looking worried, unlike the must smile faces of 2days leaders.

May Allah grant us hedayah n never leave us alone on our nafs. Rabbi zidni elmah, meaning Ya Allah make us wisdom filled knowledgeables (Al Quran).

Imam Shafi’ee said, “”All humans are dead except those who have knowledge. And all those who have knowledge are asleep, except those who do good deeds. And those who do good deeds are deceived, except those who are sincere. And those who are sincere are always in a state of worry.”

Subhan’Allah… if we look at some of the ummah today we realise that they are in fact dead! They are like zombies chasing the Duniya rather than working for their final meeting with their Lord. They have no desire to learn their Deen and to do good deeds with sincere intentions for the sake of Allah (swt).

What kind of life is this? Is this life any different to the life of an animal which only performs actions to satisfy its immediate organic needs and instincts?!

This is not the reason why Allah (swt) created you and me. The reason for this was to worship him and truly submit to him. As for those who are sincere are always in a state of worry as they know that the meeting with their Creator is only round the corner!

So brothers and sisters, my advice to you is to seek knowledge in Islam so that you know what Allah (swt) has commanded you to do and what to refrain from. KNOW that he sees and hears everything and nothing escapes him.

It is better that we become ‘ALIVE’ in the duniya so that we can prepare for the ‘DEATH’ before the ‘REAL’ life will start … Where what we did in this life will go a long way in deciding whether we will enjoy the eternal bliss of Jannah or the eternal punishment in Jahannum.

May Allah (swt) guide us all to the straight path which leads to success in the Duniya and more importantly in the next life.

Ameen
